On behalf of all all council member, I wish to welcome you to the Malta Cross Foundation web page. From its initial days the foundation has strived to be of service and to adapt its structures to the needs of the moment and to future possible mishaps; it has always aimed to protect, prevent and alleviate sufferings as well as to try and facilitate the well being of those in need. We believe that the foundation’s challenging objective of protecting and alleviating injuries, human suffering, and natural disasters wherever these are found, can be enhanced and improved by international communication and collaboration. With this aim, the foundation has partnered up with a number of other international bodies, with the aim of being better prepared to give assistance when needed and as a means of always improving services. For this purpose the foundation is in partnership with the following organisations: • Special Rescue Group - St. Lazarus Corps International • Institute of Medical Emergency Education • BASIC (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) • Green Cross International • Other NGO and Educational institutions • Cultural and Natural and Organic Activities The foundation is always ready to help or partner up with other organisations who’s aim are to elevate suffering from those in need, or organisations who aim to help and support Humanitarian issues. Our site is meant for all who are concerned with health, solidarity and humanitarian problems - whether they are members or not and who want to participate in our actions or collaborate through their suggestions. As you can see, we are quite active, giving a number of services in First Aid, Rescue, Emergency Relief, Search and Rescue, Social Help, Assisting Disabled and supporting people in need not only by direct means but also by organising education programmes. May this website incite you to join our foundation or share its ideals or to help us in any way possible.
